• I really enjoyed reading through this book! Truth in Tension is the perfect title because this 55 Day devotional immerses you into two seemingly opposite truths but it leads you to seeing the perfect balance between them.
  
  As I went through the various topics I was able to find which side that I lean more towards and while reading the balanced truth section I was able to find practical ways to change my own life. Topics such as "Holy Lifestyle" vs "Living in Grace", "Being Respectful" vs "Being Bold for God", and "I'm Perfect in Christ" vs "I'm in Process with Christ" are just a few from this book that are key to the Christian faith and are crucial for walking in everything the Lord has for us.
  
  I would definitely recommend this book to every Christian who is wanting to grow in maturity and knowing the truth. No matter what denomination you may be apart of, these are core truths that need to be examined because they are central to the Christian faith. Every Christian at some time in their walk has come across points of tension and this book gives a great biblical basis but also ties in realistic everyday steps that will change your life!
• This book was so easy to read and full of truth. It's easy to take a truth to an extreme and disregard other truths because they seem to oppose it. But this book presents both truths by sharing the biblical basis for both and then leads you into living in balance. I love the practical applications at the end of each day--it really helps take the truth from head to heart for real transformation. Highly recommend! I'm buying several more copies to give to friends and family.

• This devotional recalibrated my thinking in so many areas! I really feel like I can live with a more balanced perspective in areas that challenged me in the past, such as the “Ambition vs Contentment.” Each day takes two truths that are often pitted against each other and explains the biblical balance in between. The structure of each day (origin or heartbeat behind each truth, how each truth can be taken to an extreme, the scriptural balance between the two extremes, followed by an application for each day) was very accessible and easy to understand. I loved the application section because it challenged me to make practical changes to implement the truth in my life. It’s something I can revisit again and again to continue to grow. I highly recommend this devotional to help you understand how to walk in the simple truth of the Gospel!
